Grayish Lavender - A · Cinnamon Rufous

Dried lavender beside a length of cinnamon bark. Both have lost their first sharpness and settled into something softer.

Violet and orange lie across the wheel from one another, and with both held back from full strength a strong opposition turns agreeable. The lavender is the lighter and cooler, the cinnamon the warmer and more solid, so the eye reads them as air and earth. Their shared softness is why they sit together so easily.
