Privacy Policy

Last updated July 7, 2026

Here's what Wada.ink collects, why, and what happens to it. Plain and simple, because there isn't much.

What's collected

From Google/GitHub sign-in: your name and email (the name is never public. Only you see it on your account page). We generate for you: a public Username and, if you pick one, an avatar color. For active sessions: an IP address, browser user-agent, and a session cookie, kept only to keep you signed in and prevent abuse. Whatever you create: a Custom Palette, a Comentario, a Voto, a Favorito, or a Collection.

How it's used

To sign you in, keep your account working, show your public content under your Username, and rate-limit or moderate abuse. Nothing here is used for ads. There are no ads.

Third parties

Google and GitHub, only as sign-in providers. They see that you're signing into Wada.ink, not what you do here. Resend, only to send transactional email like a moderation notice. No analytics, no ad networks, no trackers. Your data is never sold.

What's public

A published Custom Palette and any Comentario you post are visible to anyone under your Username, never your real name. Both are permanent. You can't unpublish a Custom Palette or delete a single Comentario later.

Retention and deletion

Deleting your account starts a 90-day grace period. Sign back in with the same Google/GitHub account within that window and everything is restored. After 90 days, your account and private data are gone for good. Anything you'd already made public stays visible, now under "deleted account".

Children's privacy

Wada.ink isn't directed at children under 13, and doesn't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

This policy may change as the project grows; the date above reflects the latest revision.

Cookies and local storage

We only use what the site needs to work and to remember your choices. No analytics, ads, or third-party trackers. These are all strictly necessary or functional, so they don't need consent. You can clear the functional ones anytime from Settings → General, or block cookies in your browser. Everything stored on your device:

Name Type Purpose Kept for
session Cookie Keeps you signed in Until you sign out
lang Cookie Remembers your language 1 year
paletteStyle Local storage Remembers your palette-card display choice Until you clear it
comments.langFilter Local storage Remembers your comment-language filter when signed out Until you clear it
cookieNotice Local storage Remembers you dismissed the cookie notice Until you clear it

Your choices

Delete your account anytime from your account page. See the retention section above for what that removes and what it doesn't. For anything else, email skryensya@gmail.com.
