Coral lying on the green of shallow sea. Both colours are bright, and both keep the same level of light.

Warm coral and cool sea-green stand opposite on the wheel, and with their values nearly equal the contrast lives in hue and temperature alone. Neither will give way, which could tire the eye, except that the coral leans a touch softer in strength. The effect is clean and vivid, like colour seen in strong daylight.
