Corinthian Pink · Etruscan Red

Two reds on one branch, a pale blossom and the fuller flower beneath.

Both lie in the warm red band, near kin parted by light and strength. The cameo pink is high and soft, the etruscan red lower and full, so the deeper colour leads while the pale one gives it air. Such closeness reads as one flower in two stages of opening.
