Orange · Black

A single flame against the black of night.

Pure orange at full strength is set on a near-black, and nothing softens the meeting. The dark gives the warm colour somewhere to burn, and the orange takes all the light there is. Strong colour on black is the oldest way of making a hue seem to glow.
