The red of a clay roof set against the blue of open water. Both hold nearly the same brightness, so the eye is given no place to rest between them.

The two hues sit almost across the wheel, which is why the red looks warmer and the blue colder as you watch. Because their values are close, neither falls back and the contrast stays in the colour itself. The red carries the greater strength, and that slight imbalance keeps so plain a pairing from feeling mechanical.
