Orange Rufous · Vistoris Lake

Rust and dried blood, two warm darks side by side.

A strong orange-brown and a low, muted red-brown share the warm earths, near in hue and in light. The rufous carries more colour, the lake less, and that difference in strength is the chief contrast. Their kinship gives a close, smouldering warmth.
