A worn gold braid against dark plum silk. One is faded and dry, the other deep and a little secretive.

Gold and violet face each other across the wheel, and the meeting is softened because the gold has been greyed down. The violet is much the darker, so it reads as ground while the gold becomes ornament laid upon it. Age in the lighter colour is what lets so rich a purple keep its composure.
